Watson Mangioni has grown steadily since it was founded in 1994 with a complement of three partners. It is now a well established corporate and commercial law firm with 10 directors and more than 15 other lawyers.

- 1 July The firm starts life as Harper Watson with founding partners Robert Mangioni, Mark Watson and Randall Harper.
- 1997
- 1 August Peter Velez is appointed as a partner of the firm.
- 1997
- 31 December Randall Harper leaves.
- 1998
- 1 December The firm changes its name to Watson Mangioni.
- 1999
- 1 March John Rainbow is appointed as a consultant.
- 2001
- 1 January David McGuiness is appointed as a partner.

- June The firm moves to 50 Carrington Street, Sydney.
- 2002
- 1 January Michael France is appointed as a partner.
- 2002
- 1 July John Murray is appointed as a partner.

- April Jane McCormick is appointed as Manager, Administration and HR and Mario Malandrino is appointed as Manager, Finance.
- 2006
- 1 July Watson Mangioni Lawyers Pty Limited commences operation as an incorporated legal practice. All previously appointed partners become executive directors and Simon Barnett is appointed as an additional director.

- 15 August Reay McGuinness is appointed as a director.

- 1 July John Biggs is appointed as a director.
